Tense Moments At Cedar Creek Corrections Center

LITTLEROCK - There were some tense moments at the Cedar Creek Corrections Center Saturday.

Officials say a prisoner got upset because he felt he wasn't getting his mail on time, so he allegedly started busting out windows with a fire extinguisher.

Several other inmates started acting up and it took a good 5 hours to get everything back under control.

Out of 400 inmates at the corrections center only a handful were involved and have been moved to another facility.
