One Dead, Two Wounded In Beacon Hill Shooting
SEATTLE - A man was killed and two other people were wounded in a drive-by shooting on a sidewalk in the Beacon Hill area of Seattle on Friday morning, police said.

A man and a woman were taken to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

The men, who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, had some sort of verbal dispute with people in a car about 3 a.m., police spokesman Rich Pruitt said. The shots were fired from the car, which left the scene, Pruitt said.

The shooting scene was closed off for the investigation by homicide detectives, Pruitt said.
