A fan-filled celebration of an adventure in time and space! Hundreds of Whovians packed the EMP Museum in Seattle for the Doctor Who Celebration. The iconic science fiction television series is celebrating its 50th Anniversary.

When approached with the idea, Maurice Sendak wasn't so sure about collaborating with Pacific Northwest Ballet's founding artistic director and choreographer Kent Stowell on a rendition of E.T.A. Hoffman's "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King." Now, decades later, the unique production has become a Seattle-area holiday tradition, which celebrates its  30th anniversary this year.

On December 14, musicians like the Helio Sequence and Allen Stone will gather to play a benefit show for Seattle Children's Hospital. The funds from the show will directly benefit uncompensated care at the Hospital, whose mission statement includes helping children regardless of their family's ability to pay for the cost of care.
