SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle-based Alaska Airlines has retired its last MD-80, completing a two-year transition to an all-Boeing 737 aircraft fleet.

The airline's last MD-80 circled Mount Rainier during its final flight.

Alaska Air says the change will save money by improving operational efficiency and improve fuel conservation.
