Gas prices down just slightly over 2 weeks

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline dipped by less than one penny — about a third of a cent — over the past two weeks.
That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, released Sunday, which puts the price of a gallon of regular at $3.83.
Midgrade costs an average of $4.00 a gallon, and premium is $4.12.
Diesel held steady at $4.14 a gallon.
Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, Jackson, Miss., has the nation's lowest average price for gas at $3.51. Chicago has the highest at $4.25.
In California, the lowest average price was $4.03 in Bakersfield. San Francisco has the highest at $4.19. The average statewide for a gallon of regular was $4.11.

Based on the cost of OIL, the gas prices(using historic trends)Â - even with special "winter" fuels - should be no more than about $2.25/gal.

You can figure out the rest of it. On the other hand, this may play into the non-re-election of the current encumbrance in the White House.
Â
We can but hope.
@Woodswalker  Its only $0.18 in Venezuela. VIVA CHAVEZ!
Is this even worth mentioning ... I mean it is one cent... i don't hang on every penny at the pump either, car needs gas, if I want to drive I pay for gas... nothing to see here just pay my bill and move on...Government is not going to go after teh oil companies ripping off the struggling economy and anyone who pays attention knows that becuase they are a bunch of hens and the big oil is the fox!
We can have the bite put on anytime for things we already paid for, and to me that's far more significant than our current gas price. More refinery components will be left instead of replacing them this year too.
Very soon those greedy oil companies will raise the gas prices again...WINTER is coming !
