Bakery recalls bread over bits of plastic

EUGENE, Ore. - An Oregon-based bakery issued a recall for bread distributed this week to Fred Meyer stores in Oregon, Idaho and Washington.

The company said they discovered the bread made at the bakery in Clackamas, Oregon, might contained pieces of plastic. No customers have reported finding plastic, however.

The bread in question was delivered to Fred Meyer Stores in Idaho, Oregon and Washington on Friday, Feb. 22, Sunday, Feb. 24 and Monday, Feb. 25.
 
All of the affected product has been pulled from Fred Meyer shelves. All Fred Meyer Rewards card holders who purchased this product will receive a phone message alerting them to this recall, the company said.
 
Fred Meyer said consumers can bring the product to thier local store for refund or exchange.
