KB Toys: Use gift cards by Jan. 11 or lose them

SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Use it or lose it by Sunday if you have a gift card for a KB Toys store.

Oregon Attorney General John Kroger alerted consumers statewide Monday that any KB Toys store credit and unredeemed gift cards will expire on Sunday.

KB Toys Inc. is liquidating its stores and estimates there are 12 million unused gift cards that have not been redeemed.

KB Toys has notified state officials its stores in Oregon or Washington will not honor gift cards and merchandise credits after the close of business Sunday.
