Where to begin when organizing your garage

I'll be the first to admit it. It's so easy to fill up the garage and so hard to organize all that stuff. Where do you start? "Take a look at what you've got in there,” advised Cheryl Reed with Angie’s List. "What do you need? What do you use? How can you maximize the space that you have and still get to those tools or those things that you keep out there that you really need." You can do the job yourself or hire someone to do it. According to Angie's List, the average garage organization project in this area costs around $500. One way to make your garage look a whole lot nicer is an epoxy floor. I did that at my house and I'm really glad I did. "Epoxy is a high-gloss polish that's resistant to scuffing and abrasions,” Reed explained. “If you do it right, it's going to last a long time and you're really going to enjoy it." You can get any color you want or even have a pattern on the floor. Epoxy flooring makes it real easy to clean up drips, spills or leaks from the car. More Info: How to Organize Your Garage
