A number of visitors to KATU and KOMO have complained about pornographic advertising showing up in the standard ad placements we have throughout the sites.  We have strict ad policies and do not accept sexually explicit advertising at any time.  We took action immediately after this issue was first reported to us.  While we cannot target the specific source of this issue, we believe that these ads are occurring due to a Spyware virus on certain reader computers that may have been infected with the virus.  Should you see sexually explicit ads on our site, please contact traffic@fsci.com.

In addition, here are some helpful tools to remove Spyware from your computer should you see these ads:
