Emergency sandbags available

KING COUNTY:

King County may make sandbags available n public locations, such as fire stations and roadsides. Call the Flood Warning Center for details 206-296-4535 or 800-768-7932.


KITSAP COUNTY:

Sandbags are available at Public Works road shops, which are located at:

301 Berndt Road in Poulsbo
1971 Seabeck Highway in Central Kitsap
2339 Cedar Road near Port Orchard


KITTITAS COUNTY:

Cle Elum:

Sandbags are available at:

Kiwanis Park
Upper/Lower County Public Works Shops
Ellensbug City Shops
Whipple Park - Station 21

Residents are urged to bring their own shovel. Residents can call 509-674-1751 for local information.


PIERCE COUNTY:

Puyallup:

Sandbags are available on a first come, first served basis at the Puyallup Corporate Yards near the Metro Animal Control building at 1200 39th Ave. SE.

Fire stations throughout Pierce County will also have sand bags available for pickup.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY:

Brier:

Sand and sandbags available for public use located at Brier Park in the north parking lot next to the restrooms.

Edmonds:

Edmonds citizens should call public works at 425-771-0235 from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or 911 after business hours if they need emergency sandbags.

Kenmore:

Please call 425-398-8900 to request sandbags. More information is available on the city's Web site. Scroll down to "Kenmore Sandbags Available at Designated Locations.

Lake Forest Park:

Please call 206-368-5440 to request sandbags. Access the city Web site for more information. Scroll down to "Emergency Sandbag Depots."

Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace:

The joint Lynnwood-Mountlake Terrace Public Works Facility located at 6204 215th St SE, Mountlake Terrace. This facility is usually not open to the public or well lit, so please enter the area with caution and ask for assistance. Call 911 after business hours if you need emergency sandbags.

Woodway:

Woodway residents should contact Terry Bryant at 206-542-0183 for sandbags.

The sandbags offered by these cities are for emergency use only to protect property from an imminent flood threat. Please help ensue these sandbags are available to those who really need them.
