OLYMPIA, Wash. -- With a little help from an alert neighbor, Thurston County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a man suspected of burglarizing a string of homes in the Delphi Road and Summit Lake areas.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the neighbor called 911 Thursday while following a maroon van he had just seen involved in a burglary in his neighborhood.
Deputies caught up with the van and pulled it over. The driver, 41-year-old Stanley Lawrence, admitted to the burglary, as well as several others, according to the Sheriff's Office.
In addition, Lawrence and the van matched surveillance footage from an earlier burglary on Delphi Road. And, there were several rifles inside the van, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Lawrence was arrested for investigation of burglary.
