Man attacked by girlfriend: 'Don't kill me! Stop stabbing me!'
Seattle Police Department officers respond to a domestic-violence stabbing inside a Capitol Hill apartment Monday night.

SEATTLE -- Officers arrived at a Capitol Hill apartment shortly before midnight Monday to hear a man pleading with his girlfriend, "Don't kill me! Stop stabbing me!" according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, officers responded to the apartment in the 1300 block of East John Street for reports of a man and woman yelling.

After hearing the victim screaming, officers knocked on the door. A 31-year-old woman answered and was arrested.

The 27-year-old victim had multiple severe stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of domestic-violence assault.

A bloody, 8-inch kitchen knife was found inside the apartment and placed into evidence.
