Man carjacked at gunpoint at Golden Gardens

SEATTLE -- A man's night at Golden Gardens Park was no day at the beach after he was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint by a group of men late Monday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the victim was looking for his keys in the Golden Gardens parking lot around 11:20 p.m. when four men walked up behind him.

When the victim refused to let the group use his cellphone, one of the men reportedly hit him on the head and pointed a gun at him, demanding his wallet, keys and phone.

According to police, the victim handed over his belongings, and the men drove off in his 2008 Honda Accord.

The victim was able to get a passerby to call 911 for him, but officers were unable to find the men or the victim's stolen car.
