Man suspected of robbing blind man blind arrested

SEATTLE -- The man suspected of stealing hundreds of dollars off a blind man Saturday morning in downtown Seattle was arrested Tuesday night in Pioneer Square, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the suspect robbed the victim while the victim was using an ATM in the 400 block of Pike Street, stealing his money and leaving him a cigarette in exchange.

Officers found the suspect near Second Avenue South and South Washington Street Tuesday night and arrested him, police said.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery and also has a warrant for his arrest from New York. Wednesday, a judge set bail at $70,000.
