Olympia beauty-supply store robbed at gunpoint

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Employees of an Olympia beauty supply store were threatened at gunpoint by a masked robber Wednesday night, according to the Olympia Police Department.

According to police, the robber entered the store in the 3400 block of Pacific Avenue Southeast around 6:30 p.m. with his face covered by camouflage netting.

The robber took out a gun and demanded cash from the registers and the safe, according to police. The robber reportedly threatened to shoot employees if they didn't do what he said or if they called police.

The robber left through a back door, and a customer who came in following the robbery called 911.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the robber.
