Police: Men in BMW throw eggs at sleeping homeless man

SEATTLE -- Two men in a BMW pelted a sleeping homeless man with eggs early Wednesday in the University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the victim was sleeping in a church doorway in the 4100 block of University Way Northeast shortly before 4:45 a.m. when a silver BMW with tinted windows pulled up.

A witness later told officers two men in their 20s inside the BMW, which had circled the block about 30 minutes earlier, started tossing eggs at the sleeping homeless man.

Following the egging, the witness flagged down officers, and the victim showed them where an egg broke on his jacket.

Officers were unable to find the BMW.

Last month, a homeless man was sleeping in the same church doorway when a group of men walked up and started hitting him in the face with a stick, apparently just for being homeless, according to police. The men drove off in a car and were never caught.

That's it, humanity. There'll be no presents for anyone this Christmas. Now, go to your rooms and think about what you did.
