Police: Officer too quick for man trying to conceal child pornography

MONROE, Wash. -- A man reportedly looking at child pornography at the Monroe Library Monday evening was quick to cover his tracks but not quick enough for police, who arrested the man and booked him into Snohomish County Jail.

According to the Monroe Police Department, a witness walked by the library computer being used by 61-year-old Terry Farr twice and saw him looking at disturbing pictures.

Officers responded to the library and approached Farr as he quickly started tapping the computer's keyboard, according to police. By the time the officer reached Farr, the computer was logged off to the sign-on screen.

But, the officer noticed a set of printed photos of apparently young girls still sitting next to the computer, according to police. The officer got a search warrant for the library computer and Farr's personal digital media device, and Farr was arrested.
