Police respond to Highland Park early Wednesday after a man was reportedly confronted at gunpoint inside his home by his wife and her boyfriend.

SEATTLE -- A Highland Park resident was confronted at gunpoint by his wife and her boyfriend inside his home early Wednesday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Det. Drew Fowler said the victim's wife and her boyfriend, who was wearing a mask and armed with a handgun, kicked in his front door in the 8600 block of 10th Avenue Southwest around 12:30 a.m.

The victim claimed his wife's boyfriend fired three shots, but police were only able to find one shell casing and no bullet holes, Fowler said.

Fowler said the suspects locked the victim in the bathroom and left without taking anything or hurting the victim.

Police searched for the suspects but were unable to find them. They are wanted for investigation of burglary and armed robbery.
