SEATTLE -- Two witnesses tackled a man they caught taking an up-skirt video of a woman at the Red Bull Soapbox Race Sunday in Pioneer Square, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to the probable cause documents, the witnesses saw 48-year-old Seattle resident David Freedman activate his cellphone camera and place it under a woman's skirt during the event.

The witnesses tackled Freedman and held him on the ground while flagging down officers, who responded and arrested Freedman.

According to the probable cause documents, neither the victim nor her mother were aware Freedman had been recording the victim with his cellphone.

Freedman was booked into King County Jail for investigation of voyeurism but has since posted bail. He is due to appear in court Wednesday.
