KIRKLAND, Wash. -- The Kirkland Police Department has released surveillance camera images of two suspected burglars, one of whom appeared to be walking his dog at the time of the crime.

According to police, the two men and a dog followed a pair of women into their secure apartment complex in the 9000 block of Northeast 119th Way around 2 a.m. June 16 and made their way into the apartment's parking lot.

The men are suspected of stealing a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and a number of expensive items from a locked storage unit.

Police are hoping surveillance images of the men will help lead to their identities.
