Sheriff: Murdered Renton man may have interrupted burglary

RENTON, Wash. -- The man found dead Monday night near Lake Desire in what had been classified as a suspicious death died from gunshot wounds and may have interrupted a burglary, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a 27-year-old not breathing in a home in the 17800 block of Lake Desire Drive outside Renton around 10:40 p.m. Monday and arrived to find Ryan Prince dead.

It was later determined Prince died of gunshot wounds after possibly interrupting a burglary and being shot by the intruders, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives are now seeking any info into what happened at the house, which is occupied by the owners of a medical marijuana business called The Solution.
