Sheriff: Woman stabs neighbor in stomach during argument

SULTAN, Wash. -- A 52-year-old Sultan man has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after his neighbor stabbed him in the stomach during an argument early Wednesday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the 54-year-old suspect was arguing with her neighbor around midnight on 132nd Street Southeast when she pulled out a knife a stabbed him.

Detectives reportedly found the knife when the suspect allowed them to search her home, and she was arrested for investigation of assault.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
