Suspect arrested in connection with Bellingham beating death

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The 34-year-old man wanted on suspicion of beating another man to death Sunday in a Bellingham hotel room turned himself into police early Tuesday morning.

According to the Bellingham Police Department, David Solomon Jr. attacked 33-year-old Ike Scarborough in the Aloha Motel on Samish Way. Scarborough died Monday.

Police released Solomon's photo and information to the public Monday, and Solomon turned himself in at the station at approximately 3 a.m. Tuesday.

He was booked into Whatcom County Jail for investigation of murder.
