GIG HARBOR, Wash. -- The worst thing that could happen to most of us while renting a movie at Redbox is ending up with a copy of "The Nut Job." However, one man's hankering for convenient early morning DVDs could land him in jail.

According to Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County, an elderly Gig Harbor woman woke up July 30 to find her front door open and her purse missing.

At 5:15 a.m., a man reportedly used the victim's credit cards to rent a handful of DVDs from a Redbox kiosk at a nearby Albertsons. Now, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office is hoping someone recognizes the suspect from the store's security footage.

The suspect may also be responsible for stealing golf clubs and electronics worth several thousand dollars from a car parked in the elderly victim's neighborhood.
