Suspected bank robber arrested at Seattle motel

SEATTLE -- A suspected bank robber was arrested Wednesday morning in a motel on Aurora Avenue, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the suspect -- armed with a gun tucked in his waistband -- robbed the Washington Federal Savings Bank in the 8700 block of Holman Road Northwest on Feb. 10.

Video from surveillance cameras led officers to a possible suspect, and on Wednesday they were tipped off the suspect was staying in a motel in the 11700 block of Aurora Avenue North.

The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
