Tacoma man arrested on suspicion of raping teen girls

TACOMA, Wash. -- A 42-year-old Tacoma man was arrested Thursday for raping two teen girls who were visiting his daughter, according to the Washington State patrol.

Sergio Lopez-Carrizales is facing possible charges of rape of a child and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

Detectives with the Washington State Patrol's Missing and Exploited Task Force began investigating Lopez-Carrizales after the victims, ages 14 and 15, said they were sexually assaulted by him while visiting his daughter from out of state.

Detectives searched Lopez-Carrizales' home on 27th Street and seized a number of digital media devices.

Lopez-Carrizales, who is not related to either victim, was booked into Pierce County Jail, and detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
