WSP looking for U-Haul driver involved in hit-and-run

SEATTLE -- The Washington State Patrol is looking for the driver of a U-Haul pick-up truck who reportedly ran off after crashing into another car and injuring its driver Sunday afternoon.

According to the State Patrol, the collision took place around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 145th Street and Stone Avenue North, severely damaging the rear of the victim's car and leaving the victim with multiple broken bones.

The driver of the U-Haul attempted to drive off but only made it a short distance before the pick-up truck stopped working, according to the State Patrol. That's when he reportedly ran off.

Anyone with information about the crash, specifically the identity or whereabouts of the U-Haul driver, is asked to contact the Washington State Patrol.
