SEATTLE - Move over Costco and Sam's Club, Amazon wants a piece of your pie.
The Seattle-based e-commerce company is reportedly planning to enter the bulk retail industry with a new service called Pantry, according to USA Today.
Pantry is expected to launch next year and feature 2,000 products, such as cleaning supplies, canned goods, pet food and dry grocery items. The products would be shipped in a box with maximum weight limit.
Inside sources told USA Today the new endeavor by Amazon is expected to compete directly with Costco and Wal-Mart's Sam's Club.
