SEATTLE - Alaska Airlines is teaming up with Uber to offer free rides for travelers headed to Sea-Tac Airport during the busy Christmas travel week.

Starting Dec. 23 through Dec. 24, the airline will pay for one ride, up to a $50 value, to get holiday travelers to the airport via the on-demand car service.

To take advantage of the two-day promotion travelers can request a ride through the Uber app. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.

Once a rider enters their credit card information they can request a ride to the airport from their current location. The ride will be billed to Alaska Airlines and riders are not expected to tip.

If a rider's trip goes over $50 the additional fee will be applied to their credit card.

More information about the car service and the holiday promotion can be found online.
