Rihanna on dating Brown: A mistake? My mistake

NEW YORK (AP) - Rihanna says if dating Chris Brown is mistake, she's OK with that.
The singer tells Rolling Stone in an interview that dating Brown makes her happy and "if it's a mistake, it's my mistake." She adds that she's ready to go public with her singer-boyfriend.
Four years ago, Brown attacked Rihanna and was charged with a felony. But rumors about their relationship emerged after the singers collaborated on songs and appeared in photos together.
Rihanna says she knows that her history with 23-year-old Brown is "not the cutest puzzle in the world." The 24-year-old also vows that Brown is "disgusted" by what he did in the past. She says the two have matured and they "know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."
The magazine's new issue hits newsstands Friday.

So basically, she's acknowledging that she make a mistake, she's still making a mistake and continuing to do so? Well, I guess that shows some character on her part. :/
The problem she is going to face is the next he beats on her he will feel pressured to finish the job. If he kills her then he will likely kill himself. A win/win for Darwin.
Not trying to defend him in any way, but remember when people were trying to boycott his album and shows, etc? It makes me wonder why she is not being boycotted now. Whether she likes it or not, young girls look up to her.  She is telling young, impressionable girls that it is OK to be disrespected and beaten by a jerk. Not to mention that she has no self respect. Good role model.
If he beats her again she will probably keep it on the lowdaow as she won't want to hear all the I told you so's from everyone. And if he does beat her again, thats her bad for getting back together with him.
The sympathy well is going to have run dry by the time he whips her a$s again. Funny she mentions maturity, because her and Brown are two of the most immature people in show business.
He is rough and she is rough...a match made in the boxing ring. Hope she is investing her money well.
It has been proven time and time again that people tend to repeat past behaviors. He will hit her again. I am willing to put money on it. It is obvious he has an anger management issues (just read the news over the last couple years). He is not "rehabilitated". She should know better and being in the public eye like she is and adulated by so many young girls, she should really think twice about the message she is putting out there by staying with him. She is beautiful, talented, and she's got the world by the b*lls, why is she wasting her time with someone like him? She could do so much better.
At 24 the world is your oyster, why waste a minute with a guy that has beat you?
@Half-Baked She is obviously insecure and has not self respect.
I read this stuff and I always think, is this the only man in town? Rihanna's world must be small when he's the only man she can see herself with. "We know what we have." Yeah it's called an allusion. He go beat pon haer again.
I hope she doesn't expect a drop of sympathy next time he beats her. Â She's a fool. Â They deserve each other.
and in other very important news....i found the nail clippers i've been looking for...
@bartle_doo I also found my keys that have been missing for a month as well! :)
@bartle_doo I still can't find mine. I'm jealous. Congrats!
Next time, when he beats you bad enough to land yourself in Intensive Care, don't come crying to the press. What is with these women who stay with men that beat them?  The first beating, I'm sympathetic, but If your partner beats you a 2nd time, you deserve it.
@Shelly Especially with the resources she has to leave him. So many battered women are stuck in poverty or don't leave for fear of their children being harmed. She has neither issue to contend with.
