100 fans to join Beyonce onstage at Super Bowl

NEW YORK (AP) - All the single ladies - and fellas - will have a chance to join Beyonce onstage at the upcoming Super Bowl.
Pepsi announced Friday that 100 fans will hit the stage when the Grammy-winning diva performs on Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
A contest that kicks off Saturday will allow fans to submit photos of themselves in various poses, including head bopping, feet tapping and hip shaking. Those pictures will be used in a TV ad introducing Beyonce's halftime performance, and 50 people - along with a friend - will be selected to join the singer onstage.
The photo contest - at www.pepsi.com/halftime - ends Jan. 19, but Jan. 11 is the cut-off date for those interested in appearing onstage with Beyonce.

Yea, she needs that much backup.   Oh look out here comes Kanye.
Yes, middle aged men roll their eyes at who's coming on stage. But really Rolling Stones were the biggest snooze ever! Why not appeal to the younger audience to entice them to watch football? Why not appeal to women? Either way, many channels have special counter programming with timers to say when the 3rd quarter starts.
If the Hawks make it, can we get a do over?

I haven't seen a SB half time show in decades. Wonder why?
For those that will never be satisfied, maybe the Superbowl should give everyone headphones and an option of radio station. Â Since today's music all sounds the same anyway, the Superbowl could still have women and men gyrating and bouncing around, as if they were dancing to what each person was listening to. Â Â
Is she trying to channel the spirit of Big Bird?
Some prize...NOT!
Â
Not interested...

For some, that would be so much fun. You have a choice to change channels during halftime.,,really you do. lol.
The Super Bowl committee responsible for halftime entertainment seriously needs to consider new genres and acts for entertainment. You can almost predict in any given year who it will be: The Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson, The Who, or U2. Some hip hop, modern rock or alternative would work. Not everyone will like it, but not everyone likes the same crap year after year.

The committee obviously knows what will draw the people. Nobody wants to go to sleep...thank you very much.-----OR DO THEY!!!???
@The Warden People watch the super bowl for the NFL Championship, it just so happens that the halftime entertainment coincides with the game.
Public Service Announcement...kids; this is what happens to your hair when you pee into an electrical wall socket.
@dkgiovenco  The only comment I will make WITHOUT BARFING IS: If you're being humorous - fine; other than that you're insulting.
How about both?
@dkgiovenco BWWAAHAAHAAA!!!! Comment of the DAY!!! Very funny! Thanks for the smile; I needed it! :)
