Bare breasts, buttocks banned at this year's Grammys

NEW YORK (AP) — CBS is asking stars not to bare too much skin at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The network requests that "buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered" for the televised award show. The memo sent out Wednesday also warned against "see-through clothing," exposure of "the genital region" and said that "thong type costumes are problematic."
Representatives for CBS and the Recording Academy declined to comment on Thursday. Deadline Hollywood first reported the memo.
CBS broadcast the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that included Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction." The network was initially fined by the Federal Communications Commission, though the fine was later overturned.
The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. EST at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

With there no longer being an opportunity to see the exposed genital area of these brain dead Hollywood beeatces, what's the point of even watching this silly show ????
Meh. Now there's no reason whatever to watch. As the big-label recording cartel's annual orgy of self-justification, it's always been offensive.
Way to recycle safety netting. Good job Fergie. It shows your concern for the environment. Maybe next CBS will start toning down on the violence and nudity in their own programming. I like how they state that it is "Problematic".
Hmmm what is worse, human nudity or television violence? Seems we American's are far more hung up on nudity of any kind, yet violence has just become the norm. Â Our children learn about human anatomy when they are toddlers.. yet it becomes so taboo as we reach adulthood. Â Take a chill pill CBS and let the beauty of the human anatomy reign!
Good luck with all that CBS.
Pop music is on its deathbed but not pop nudity.
The near-nudity isn't what's problematic. It's the complete downward spiral of popular culture.Â
So does that mean CBS will black out outfits that don't cover the 'prime' areas? Because there's going to be  a lot of breasts and buttocks showing. CBS just opened up another area for cable TV to snatch. Why are Grammy's still on broadcast TV? It might be time move.Â
An Orange barrel recycled....
The Taliban have apparently landed at CBS...
Turn on the television during any time of the day and I'm sure you can find a program dedicated to detailed graphic murders, warfare, or rape aftermath (thanks, W.E. and Oxygen!) but heaven FORFEND someone views an errant nipple.
From the article: "The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. EST at Los Angles' Staples Center."
Los Angles? Really?
It's the second largest city in the nation, if you can't spell it, just abbreviate it like everyone else.
Los angles... what a bonehead!
Is that Fergie, or a construction baracade?
 @Throbbinhood I love how the orange fades down her arms.
@spacegoddess @Throbbinhood LOL
@spacegoddess Good catch, goddess...
