Comedian Katt Williams arrested again in LA

LOS ANGELES - Katt Williams, the comedian who has repeatedly found himself on the wrong side of the law, is out on bail after being arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of child endangerment and possession of a stolen gun.
Police Officer Norma Eisenman says Williams was taken into custody Friday after the LA County Department of Children and Family Services did a welfare check at his home. Authorities found more than one firearm, one of which had been reported stolen.
Eisenman says the DCFS did not specify how many children lived at the home or whether they were removed.
The 41-year-old Williams has been arrested multiple times in recent weeks, including at least three times during a visit to Seattle in early December.
During that visit, police say Williams argued with customers at a hotel and threatened the manager with a pool cue. Williams is accused of then throwing a lit cigarette into a family's car, which hit a woman in the face, and throwing a rock at that car.
Police said Williams struggled with officers as they tried to put him into a patrol car. Producer Suge Knight later bailed him out, TMZ.com reported.
A group of fans also claims Williams assaulted them after one of his Seattle performances. The fans claimed Williams had attacked them after they tried to take a photo with him after the show, Seattle police said. However, Williams claimed the fans had forced their way into his dressing room, and denied assaulting anyone. No arrests were made in that incident.
In addition, an audience member claims that Williams clobbered him with a microphone during a show in Seattle. Now that fan has filed a lawsuit alleging Williams should have never been allowed to take the stage.
Williams also was arrested in Northern California this month on a felony warrant related to a police chase. In November, he was accused of hitting a man on the head with a bottle during a fight.
Williams, whom police said was 41 but who is listed as 39 in online biographies, is known for his role as Money Mike in "Friday After Next." He also was on Nick Cannon's MTV improve show "Wild 'n' Out" and has appeared on BET's "Comic View." Recently he was parodied on "Saturday Night Live" for his arrest in Oakland.
He has been known for confronting hecklers and last month in Oakland he was moved off stage by his own security staff. The day before he was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly beating an 18-year-old.

Drugs? Mental illness? Moron?
What a loser. Quit giving him any publicity. Let him fade into obscurity.
Tip to Katt, may want to rethink whatever in the 'ell it is you are smokin'. Tip two, take your ghetto azz self and get some help before it's too late. You are funny but obviously you are losing your grip and I hate to see you end up another sad statistic.
I guess when you run out of material, and you want to stay in the media, ya' gotta' go with what you know?
I guess the same could be said for KOMO's reporting. Is Katt the new Tanya Harding? Joey Buttafuoco?
It appears Katt Williams has become his own worst enemy. Public self-destruction is the worst thing to watch.
What a shame, his stand up use to be so great.Â
greazy animal
The dude needs help or an intervention or something. Â Yikes. Â Someone's going to get seriously hurt or worse.
Even if he can get club bookings, from here on people would buy tickets to see or precipitate another meltdown, not for whatever comedy talent there might be. Â
It's Charlie Sheen all over again. He clearly needs some help. I feel bad for his family; it's hard enough to try to get help for your loved one without dealing with all the gory details being reported by the media.Â
@uumommy This guy is in way worse shape than Charlie Sheen ever was.Â
Doesn't this comedian just seem to be getting funnier and funnier now?
Sounds like deteriorating mental health.
Dude needs a serious intervention.Â
He needs a grill.......I think thats what it's called?
Looks like he should be wearing a giant clock around his neck...
Â
@skepticaloptimist Haha! I was just thinking that he looked like Flav too! Seriously hope he gets help though, he's really messed up.
@PatrickS.  @skepticaloptimist I have opined that he stole that necklace from Wilma Flintstone.
Why is he out on bail? Seems that with his record and penchant for breaking the law, he should be locked up until his trial. Guess the courts in LA are no better than the ones here. With a felony warrant and having firearms in his possession, much less a stolen one, that should have been good enough for denying bail.
@Veteran We ALL know that politicians and celebrities in 'Merica live by different rules........sad isn't it? This clown won't be held accountable as long as ol Gangstah "Suge" keeps bailing his little thug minion out. Of course, we COULD get lucky, and he could end up like Tupac. Act like a banger, die like a banger. The sooner the better.
