Ex-porn star Jenna Jameson pleads guilty to DUI
WESTMINSTER, Calif. (AP) — Former adult film star Jenna Jameson has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence when she struck a light pole in Southern California.
Jameson was sentenced Thursday to three years of informal probation and ordered to pay $340 in fines and participate in a Mothers Against Drunk Driving "victims' impact panel."
A misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license was dismissed.
Jameson was arrested May 25 after her Range Rover struck the pole in Westminster, resulting in minor injuries. Prosecutors in Orange County say tests showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.13 percent. That's above the state's legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Jameson's attorney, John Kremer, tells City News Service that Jameson is apologetic and thankful nobody was seriously hurt.
Jameson crossed into the mainstream after publishing a popular autobiography in 2004.

She, no doubt, batted those false eyelashes and smiled with those collagen-filled lips and got a very light reprimand for her 'misbehavior'...more evidence that our judicial system fails to adequately enforce laws which is why they are so often ignored and/or abused.
@ytboarder Also comes down to cash... I was in a single car accident when I was younger; I drank the night before, slept and got in an accident the next morning. Paid 6k in court fees, and served 3 days in jail... I had fallen asleep at the wheel and was told by the public pretender to plead no contest... 19 years old at the time and in Kittitas County. So all because I was under 21 and drank the night before I got screwed... funny how the Hiltons, Lohans, Jamesons of the world get off scott free.

What is informal probation? Does that mean she has one of her people call the Probation officer's people? Why do the people at MADD have to endure her? What did they do wrong? And $340.00 bucks? I don't care that she's a porn star, I do care that she appears to be getting a slap on the wrist for drunk driving.
I think I will have to study her body of work this week end.
Regardless of her chosen profession, any kind of 'celebrity' that pleads guilty to anything is a pleasant surprise.
It was probably hard to take all that evidence laying down, but in the end, she performed well with accepting a happy ending.
