Herman Cain joins Fox News Channel as contributor

NEW YORK (AP) — Former presidential candidate Herman Cain will be getting some regular TV work at Fox News Channel.
The network announced Friday that Cain, a failed Republican presidential contender in 2012, will be a network contributor. Cain, the former president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza from Georgia, will also contribute to the Fox Business Network.
Cain said he's looking forward to the job because it is "an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America."
Fox has been shuffling its contributor lineup since the election. It has hired Dennis Kucinich, Scott Brown and now Cain, while cutting ties with Sarah Palin and Dick Morris.

Fox News is a clearinghouse for bad ideas. He will fit in great there. Â
Just remember Republicans, "if you aren't rich blame yourself."Â
Hey, at least most of the women on FOX are well....................FOXEY.
@Dieseldog They are made up like Barbie dolls. Lip gloss, push up bras, tight clothes, cleavage everywhere...it's absurd, and frankly it's great proof that they care about ratings, not informative news. Â
Frankly its ironic how liberals preach tolerance, except when you disagree with them. If you dont like FOX news , dont watch it .we all know there is no liberal bias in the mainstream media.
@Getov Mylon @lakeview @Dieseldog She's the token female intellectual. Â
@lakeview @Dieseldog "You know damn well that Fox only hires attractive women."
So they gave Greta her own show because....?
I also watch Fox and other news channels as well, I am also well rounded and informed. I also dont have a problem with attractive women. I married one.
@Dieseldog Straw man arguments are dumb and boring. If you don't like what someone has to say, call them a liberal and make stuff up. Brilliant. Â
 You know damn well that Fox only hires attractive women. You said it yourself. Â
I do watch Fox, not a lot, but enough. It's called being well rounded and informed. Â
Sounds like you are an authority. Must watch FOX a lot huh?
Another rocket scientist joining FOX. <yawn>
Not surprising. It's where failed presidential candidates go to die.
So we can expect John Edwards to join next?
This guy has no class and no discernible intelligence, he'll make a perfect replacement for palin.
They sure seem to have short tenures at FOX. Guess it doesn't take long to pick their brains.
Way to go FOX!!! Â Great add to your incredible roster of entertainers!

Fox has been doing what?
All you people who bash Fox News as if they're something to be feared or looked upon as some sort of conduit of power and influence crack me up.
The deplorable, embarrassing, incompetent MSNBC aside - no better or no worse than the balance of their competition. Get over Fox already.
@Throbbinhood Everyone should watch the Iraq War special on MSNBC on Monday at 6pm local. There is lots of new evidence about just how the war was sold to us.Â
@Throbbinhood  I don't fear FOX. I am intelligent enough to know it's not a news network.  What  I fear  the people who actually take it seriously, like you. .
@Throbbinhood They are far from feared. More just annoying and painful - like a pimple, or a rash.Â
Herman is just another whitehead on the backside of politics.
@Throbbinhood  Wrong.  There are tens of millions of gullible, vulnerable people in the nation.  Not to mention FOX News' prime audience - the elderly.  Studies have shown you are more likely to misinformed about national/world goings on by watching FOX than by not watching news at all.  There is no comparison to MSNBC, though it is VERY convenient for people on the right to make such comparisons.  They are an entertainment channel posing as legitimate news.  They antagonize and mislead, all in attempt to keep their audiences and their $20m/year entertainers.  And it has worked for 12 years or so now. Â
History will look back shamefully on FOX, and incredulously on the people that both watched it and sat aside while the 'news' channel divided the country. Â Â
Please seek help.
@Throbbinhood Interesting. Did I miss "seattleways' " counter point to your defense of FOX?
Just can't figure out why you gave Seattleways a "LIKE".
@Throbbinhood Please seek a bridge to crawl under.
Yeah, that's fine... they can have him.
@Fooey Patooey! I 100% agree with you.... Herman is a schmuck. Â
If this is another attempt, forget it! If the republicans want a viable candidate, pick Chris Christie (NJ). He will attract a lot of swing voters.
I know most news outlets are all garbage, but really, do people STILL find Fox News a credible news source when they keep adding people like this to the roster? Really?
@jowsuf I do watch them every now and then. Some people I can't stand, some I respect. I can deal with O'Reily (believe it or not), can't stand Hanity (Insanity), like Colmes, am OK with Cavuto, I actually like Napolitano. I do not give any credence to Palin, Cain, or other failed runner ups.
@Komo Dragon @jowsuf I kind of enjoy O'Riley, too, in a kind of novelty way. Or guilty pleasure, maybe. Listening to Hannity is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I'm not really familiar with too many others.
I'll tell you one thing that's ridiculous, is CNN's morning news. Those newscasters (don't know who they are, mostly female, I think) are beyond terrible. Probably among the hardest to watch newscasting I've ever seen. Really, they're all pretty bad.Â
@jowsuf @Komo Dragon I actually have to agree, it's a lot of "dumming down" on all channels.
Herman Cain is a real person has a sense of humor and great common sense ideas.I liked listing to him. I think a lot of people were afraid of him.
I don't think he needs the work.
@Mike WHAT? No sense of geography, possibly common? Sorry, but running the US government is not another pizza story - he does not have the intellect.
How about a want a be attorney that can't balance his own check book. This country should be run more like a business. Free Pizza or Free Birth Control at my age i'll take the Pizza. LOL
Shut up herman. You picked the right place to work. Cable news is just the place for another womanizing, lying, self-righteous SOB spewing bile at the sheep [that's both parties, I don't argue party] that believe your and your colleges of the propaganda media.Â
@komoispropaganda WOOF WOOF
He should bring FOX news the credibility it deserves, since letting go Sara Palin who brought that special brand of wisdom. Â
this man was wrongfully accused and expelled from the race for President
@Dozen 123Â He suspended his own campaign, he wasn't expelled.Â
@jowsuf @Dozen 123,He suspended his campaign under pressure from charges of sexual harassment, he was expelled from the campaign for President of the USA,It was pathetic to watch every day a new woman who accuses this man,Someone had planted his feet!
@Dozen 123 @jowsuf Well regardless of what happened, I usually don't get mixed up in picking sides on these kinds of things. Considering that the only information you have is what biased news outlets tell you, I think it's foolish to make any kind of conclusion. For all we know he could be innocent or guilty. It's all conspiracy theory due to lack of information.
@Dozen 123Â @jowsuf To me all the women being from Chicago was a little weird.
