Jacksons say estate executors harming the family

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson say the executors of Michael Jackson's will are causing harm by damaging "fundamental family relationships" and isolating matriarch Katherine Jackson "from anyone questioning the validity of Michael's will."
The Jackson siblings released a statement late Friday through an attorney amid a fight over their brother's will with the executors of his estate.
On Thursday a judge named TJ Jackson, a cousin to Michael Jackson's three children, as co-guardian with Katherine Jackson, who was named their sole caretaker in the disputed will.
Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson accuse the executors of a "relentless" negative media campaign and say they have been barred from visiting their 82-year-old mother or Jackson's children.
"The effect of that notice not only is to damage fundamental family relationships, it is also to isolate Katherine Jackson from anyone questioning the validity of Michael's will," reads the statement by Janet Jackson's attorney, Blair G. Brown, released on behalf of Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson.
They say they will continue to contest Michael Jackson's will because "the executors have never explained how Michael could have signed his will in California on a date that irrefutable evidence establishes that he was in New York."
Representatives for the executors of the will did not immediately respond to calls and emails requesting comment. However, representatives for executors John Branca and John McClain released a statement some weeks ago saying, "Any doubts about the validity of Michael's will and his selection of Executors were thoroughly and completely debunked two years ago when a challenge was rejected by the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals and, finally, the California Supreme Court."
Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson say they will continue to contest Michael Jackson's will, adding, "they stand nothing to gain financially by a finding that the will is invalid."
"The individuals who have the most to lose by a finding that the will is invalid are, of course, the executors and those on the executors' payroll."
The siblings say they will "press forward in their search for the truth in order to carry out the wishes of their brother Michael."

Instead of fighting over that perverts estate they should donate it to charity and quit using it as a publicity stunt to bolster the come back attempt of the singing(?) group.
You couldn't pay me enough to be a part of this family.
With all of the technoloy it's always possible maybe the will was faxed to another lawyers office and signed, witnessed, and noterised by those where he was at. Anytime there is lots of money and assets involved there always seem to be a battle over who gets what no matter how far out on the family tree they are.
Those kids are waaaaaay too caucasoid looking to be michael's kids......
Â
If those are his kids, then I'm half black.............
@quinoline Have you seen the oldest kids' mother?  She's very white.  So yeah, they are likely his kids.  But I'm sure they'll have no problem submitting to a DNA test for you.
 @stamperzannÂ
Yeah, sure.....
Â
Next you'll be saying tha micheal was proud to be black........................................
If you want to see which relatives you have are pure scum, have a relative with a large estate, and sit back to watch it unfold.  It's the ultimate integrity test.Â
Hopefully when one of them turns 18, they can shake the rest of their sorry family!
Â
I think it's possible, maybe even likely, that the will is forged but I also think his siblings are acting like fools. If they truly believe that the will is forged then they need to go about it legally and privately. Bringing it out into the public, scaring the children by hiding their grandmother, and what not is just silly.
@queenofthenight Its more than likely that the family is going after the will because they were not given what they felt they should have gotten and have a chip on their shoulder. Its a very common reaction to final wills of people. Dont get what they want, sue to have the will dissolved.
Â
Michael Jackson outshined his siblings with his skills and became a superstar while the rest of the Jackson family (with exception to Janet) became tabloid circus rejects. Its nothing but spite and jealousy at this point.
@DarkRenegade That certainly seems the case with this family. I think their public statements and ridiculous actions have certainly sealed the deal with many who read these articles. However they could be genuine in their concerns.
Â
Also it's not that I necessarily think his signature is forged but the will may not be accurate to what he actually wanted. Michael was taking medication he shouldn't have and we don't know how far back he was doing that. Assuming his executors worked with him on the will, they could have altered it and brought it to him when he wasn't 'with it.'
Â
I've seen this done in my family. My grandfather had a will with his children and grandchildren on it. Shortly after one of his family members became his power of attorney and everyone she didn't like was removed from the will. I was the only person left and she was named executor. My grandfather would have never wanted his children and grandchildren removed. I shared what I received with them.
Yeah of course the executors are harming the family. Where was the family when Michael struggled with opiate addiction that eventually led to his death? Where was this family unit when Michael was lightening his skin, shrinking his nose, and  sculpting a Kirk Douglas chin with dimple? This 'family' was kept at arms length by Michael with guards that wouldn't let the family see him without an appointment. If you have  to psych yourself up for a family visit by having them make an appointment maybe there's something wrong. Except for a few high earners the family seem like leeches. Everyone's looking for a cut of Michael's estate and if that means taking in the kids they'll do it.Â
Likewise - continuous, non-stop stories of the Jacksons are harming the rest of society.
If the allegations of fraud being perpetrated by the executors is true it certainly wouldn't be the first time this kind of thing has happened. That being said, it also wouldn't be the first time that a bunch of greedy relatives tried to get their hands on money that didn't belong to them either. I think at this point the court needs to appoint some sort of a neutral third party to look into this mess.Â
Â
On a side note I feel so bad for those kids. How are they supposed to know who to trust? I have to say looking at the above pic it's obvious that Paris is going to be gorgeous when she grows up. Looking at the youngest one though makes me sad. There's just no life in his eyes and he looks like that in every pic I have ever seen of him. I guess I would be kind of dead inside if my parents had named me "Blanket" too.
His real name isn't Blanket. LOL. Its Prince Michael Jackson II.
Â
Â
@Tattooed_Angel True, but it has been said that it is a family given nick name.  A poor one at that.  I agree with Petwlkr though.  That boy has no life in his eyes.  Very sad.
Sad these kids have to deal with this issue . . . as if they didn't already have enough on their plate of life. Seriously I hope they are strong and listen to good advice.Â
SHOW me the money....they all sayyyyyyyyy
