Katt Williams arrested again
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Comedian Katt Williams has been arrested in northern California on a felony warrant related to a police chase.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Williams was arrested Friday night in Dunnigan, about 25 miles north of Sacramento, by Yolo County deputies.
The paper says he was released from the county jail Saturday after posting bail.
The sheriff's department confirmed Williams' arrest late Saturday, but staffers on duty didn't have details. A spokesman for the comedian didn't immediately return a call and email.
The California Highway Patrol says Williams fled officers on a three-wheeled motorcycle on Nov. 25 after being spotted driving on a downtown Sacramento sidewalk.
The CHP said Williams was asked to stop and refused, leading to the pursuit. Williams nearly hit five people during the chase, which police ended for safety reasons, officials said.
Katt Williams was also arrested several times last week when he was in the Seattle area.
In an interview with KOMO News, Williams said the string of arrests have led him to retire from stand-up comedy.

All I know is that it is NOT "William Katt", who was the only reference my brain had for that name combination prior to this.
What happened to Katt Williams. He used to be funny and clever. Now he's just a sad mess. None of that interview made sense.

Obviously the guy has a substance abuse problem and is in the throes of some sort of a mental breakdown. Hopefully there is someone in his life who truly cares about his well being and not just his ability to support them financially who can step in and get him the help he needs. Otherwise the inevitable end to this story is not going to be pretty.
I see two options for Katt in the near future, either learn to flip a burger, or apply to be a commenter on Smoking Gun World's Dumbest.
