Lindsay Lohan could be headed back to jail

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge revoked Lindsay Lohan's probation on Wednesday and scheduled a hearing that could result in more jail time for the closely watched "Liz and Dick" star.
The ruling in Los Angeles came as the 26-year-old actress — who did not appear in court — faces misdemeanor counts of reckless driving, lying to a police officer and obstructing an officer from performing duties after an accident in which her Porsche slammed into the back of a dump truck in June.
Lohan told police in Santa Monica that her assistant was driving, but detectives now believe the actress was behind the wheel as she headed to a movie set.
Lohan was on probation at the time after previously being convicted of the misdemeanor theft of a necklace and two DUI charges.
A probation violation hearing was set for Jan. 15. A judge could sentence the actress up to 245 days in jail after the Santa Monica case is resolved.
Lohan was not required to appear in court Wednesday. She was represented by her attorney, Shawn Holley.
Lohan also faces a misdemeanor assault charge in New York after a woman claimed she was hit by the actress at a nightclub.
The jewelry case sparked months of court hearings and morgue cleanup duty for the star who has struggled personally and professionally since being arrested twice in 2007 for driving under the influence.
After being removed from supervised probation in March, Lohan attempted to mount a comeback, filming two movies and a cameo with Charlie Sheen in the latest installment of the "Scary Movie" franchise.

Lohan is the typical Hollywood spoiled bad girl that just cant keep her self out of trouble and they keep pampering her like a little baby with slaps on the hands. She is a walking train wreck and needs a good swift kick in the backside to help her get her head on straight. All the press she gets from her acting up is not helping either.
If your rich and in Hollywood, there is no fear in jail.Â
if it were you or I we would still be in jail but the special rich people get off
I think that jail is a waste of taxpayer's resources on Miss Lohan. Better to fine her massive amounts of money and at least make an attempt to hurt her in the pocketbook.
Surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre she'll get some jail time. I'm winning the mega millions too
She is not worth our time to read her about her self destruction.
It's about time they DO send her to jail. She's a spoiled brat and I for one am tired of hearing of her continual demonstrations of irresponsibility and "me me me me" behavior.
As long as we never see her name grace a front page headline again, I'm fine with it.
This waste of protoplasm will self destruct before she will ever, ever go to a California jail. Press reports have it that jail is not necessarily an option by her judge. However such continual deferring of sentencing is detrimental to her assuming responsibility. Sadly the manner in which her repeated and wanton behavior is not being addressed is a blight on California law enforcement. It is my understanding that even a California traffic ticket can be expunged from ones record by simply sitting in a Saturday classroom. Disgraceful.Â
"A judge could sentence the actress up to 245 days in jail." If you subtract 244.9 days, thats how much time she will spend in jail.
@3rase Probably so. Not like she will be in general population or anything.
Â
Just inform us WHEN she goes back, but only if they actually decided to keep the dumb dingbat there for once!
As much as she deserves jail time, she won't be in there long. Â
I always thought that she was kind of attractive until she got those lip injections. She looks awful now.Â
@lakeview  Really? I think they're okay--some pictures are better than others.
She needs to do some time, at least it might dry her out.
Â
"headed back to jail"......we can only hope.
Lindsay doing time is about as likely as capturing Bigfoot. Ain't gonna happen.
KOMO - please try to contain yourselves. Show some restraint, for cryin' out loud...
Good! Keep her there for a long time.
She believes she is above the law. Â She needs a good long extended stay behind bars.
She never stays in jail anyway. Perhaps if she served her time the first time it might have changed her around. Now it's too late. I expect to see a story one day about her untimely death.
Comedy!! The mere thought that she might do time is laughable. Unless you mean in 'minutes'. Get 5 days.. out in 5hrs. It's only a matter of time until she pulls a River Phoenix or Amy Winehouse. Robert Downey Jr needs to spin up an intervention on this young soul. Until then... she has zero direction.
Not another threat of 5 days in jail and out in 3. She'll be running scared now.
She needs it. She keeps getting away with everything and not being held accountable. If it was anyone else, they would have been in jail for quite a while especially considering the number of offenses she has. Its a shame because she could turn her life around and be really successful if everyone around her quits enabling her and the courts do their job.
This is not news, it is a constant in nature. Might as well have an article taking about the sun rising in the morning.
Blah blah blah..who cares.......where's Sky Metalwala?
@ALTemp Why would the news know? Go ask his shady mother.Â
@RedRiverBand The point is, why is Komo devoting space to this attention ho when they could be actually doing good?
@ALTemp  @RedRiverBand I like to point out people's hypocritical comments. Because you are taking time out of your day to read an article you "apparently" have no interest in.Â
If I see an article about Ocotomom, I don't open them up, read them, and then comment on them.Â
@RedRiverBand ~ Likewise. Don't like what I have to say, don't comment on it.
@ALTemp  @RedRiverBand News corporations are just that, corporations. So they are going to write stories that will bring more readers.
In the meantime, if you don't like the article, don't click on it. It's a simple concept.Â
Someone needs to step up[, make the RIGHT decision and LOCK HER UP!!!
Â
You very well may save her life....I think it's painfully Obvious she needs and "Extended Vacation" in Lock-up to say the least....teach her some Humility!!!
