Not content to simply be one of the biggest-selling female recording artists of 2013, former child star Miley Cyrus has announced that she'll be kicking off a 38-stop tour to promote her new album, "Bangerz." The tour starts on Valentine's Day in Vancouver, BC, and stops at the Tacoma Dome on February 16th.
Cyrus, who has continuously shocked fans with racy videos and performances of her hugely successful singles, "We Can't Stop," and "Wrecking Ball," announced the tour today on Twitter and her website. She later expressed impatience, Tweeting that she wanted to be on tour already.
The 20-year-old singer initially teased that a tour was coming during a surprise appearance on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.
The tour will stop at large stadiums in major metropolitan areas across the country, as well as multiple cities in Canada.
Fans will be given multiple opportunities to purchase tickets before they go on sale for the general public on Saturday, November 16th. According to promoter LiveNation, American Express Card Members will be able to purchase tickets before the general between Tuesday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m. and Friday, November 15 at 10:00 p.m.
Additionally, fans who RSVP via Facebook will receive information about other opportunities to get tickets.
