O'Reilly, Stewart to debate on presidential race

NEW YORK (AP) — Pick your pundit when Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart face off for a special 90-minute debate about the 2012 presidential race.
The host of Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" and the anchor of Comedy Central's fake newscast "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" have announced they will clash in the event, dubbed "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium."
This live debate will be streamed online on Oct. 6 from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The price is $4.95, with one-half of the profits donated to a number of unspecified charities.
In a statement, Stewart quipped that "The Rumble" will be entertaining for all, including "people who just enjoy yelling."
It's why Al Gore invented the Internet, the announcement added.

This should be interesting.  O'Reilly is a very glib speaker but he has a tendency to embellish his made up facts.  Stewart, on the other hand, can make anyone look and sound like an idiot.  This will be like shooting fish in a barrel. Â
I recall an interview O'Reilly had with President Obama. O'Really would interrupt the President before the President could finish presenting his thoughts. It got to the point where the President commented to O'Really to let him finish, but O'Really would not relent and would not give Obama the time requested. I hope that Jon Stewart has better luck with O'Really than did the President. O'Reilly is a bore, the real face of crappy partisan journalism.

Fake news vs. Faux news! Â Yeah!
Hurry! We need to get the popcorn ready!!!This is going to be EPIC!!!!
Stewart is a paid comedian who is actually very intelligent AND funny while Bill isn't  paid as a comedian, isn't intelligent but yet somehow comes off as "funny"Â
Yay. An audience consisting of 99.2% Stewart supporters who applaud and whoop at every Stewart strawman. While everytime O'Reilly makes a valid point, Stewart just shakes his head and ruefully says "Oh, dude..." as a rebuttal and the crowd cheers "Score one for Stewart!"
Â
Pass-a-dena.
@Mumblix Grumph Listen to Stewart'ss words and you may learn something about the real world. Kind of sad that a comedian has the most honest reporting of the news at the moment.
@albion You get your news from a Leftie comedian with a huge staff of Leftie writers on a comedy channel and you tell me to learn about The Real World?
Â
It must be so soothing in your bubble.
@Mumblix Grumph We all live in a bubble. But liberals generally have a larger more inclusive bubble than conservatives. And yes, you will get more accuracy from Stewart than most conservative outlets I have sampled; kind of sad really.
@Mumblix Grumph When you want to post something truthful let us know.
@WhatRJDid Er...what part of my post is untruthful?
Stewart is going to wipe the floor with him.
....I'll put $20 down on Stewart to skewer him & come out on top....easy bet. Odds anyone?
@Sydthepiper I think Stewart will pull punches actually. when he is one on one with someone, he is a lot more "professional" for lack of a better word.Â
I love when these two get together! Team Stewart!
I am so there!
