Pop superstar Rihanna played a packed house at Seattle's Key Arena last night -- but the show didn't exactly go off without a hitch.
Slated to begin at 7:30 pm, the show was reportedly delayed by well over an hour. The result? A line of concergoers that stretched nearly two miles around the venue. No reason has been given yet for the delay. The added traffic from attendees also caused some traffic delays in and around Queen Anne, but that's to be expected with a show of that magnitude.
The delays didn't seem to put much of a damper on the show, however -- early reviews for the high-energy performance were overwhelmingly positive. The engagement was part of the 25-year-old star's "Diamonds" world tour.
Seattleite (and proud owner of a gold album) Macklemore was among the attendees, though one source reported that the hip-hop superstar was initially denied entrance because he didn't have the proper credentials.
Another local icon was also present last night, at least in spirit; Capitol Hill sweet shop Cupcake Royale provided cupcakes with Rihanna's likeness to the crew backstage.
