Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough call it quits

Could it have been the ludicrously expensive jewelry theft that broke the camel's back? Following the shocking news that Julianne Hough left $10,000 worth of baubles in her unlocked Mercedes, which were a gift from then-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, the two have announced that they are separating.

After two years of dating, sources close to the "American Idol" host and former "Dancing With The Stars" castmember told People Magazine that the relationship was over.

Hough tweeted a picture of herself over the weekend with the hashtag "#friendsarethebesttherapy."

Just last month, rumors that an engagement was pending began circling, but both stars were quick to dismiss them as speculation.

I think anyone dating Ryan Seacrest is an idiot. Not because he's abrasive and obnoxious, but because he's a workaholic. He has TV shows he hosts, more he produces and all of his radio business too. It would be very hard to have a relationship last through all of that.
