Taylor Swift shocked by 'unbelievable' album sales
London (AP) - Taylor Swift says the response to her latest album, "Red," has been "unbelievable."
The American singer was speaking at Westfield London shopping mall Tuesday, where she was switching on the Christmas lights.
Speaking after the big moment, Swift said: "I had hoped that my fans would get what I was doing there - that they would embrace it. And the fact that they celebrated that and 1.2 million of them went out and bought it the first week and it became my first U.K. No. 1 album, it is absolutely unbelievable."
The Grammy-winner rewarded her British fans at the event by performing songs including her hit from the album, "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

This is a really strong CD. I am constantly surprised because every CD she releases is better than the last one. She's really great, as a person, a songwriter and a singer.
At this point, Taylor Swifts next song should be called "Maybe I'm the problem."
Tired of the teeny bop crapola of Swifts. Time to grow up and market to adults!Â
 @HallandOates Have you listened to the entire album? Honestly it is not bad. It's a lot different than her previous album, and in a good way. I am 27 and this album is great.
Someone who has honed her craft and closely managed everything regarding her career as she has, is not suprised at all.

This doesn't surprise me. I have this album and although i'm not her target audience, this is the best cd she has made yet.
Anyone with musical taste is also shocked.
