Taylor Swift visits 10-year-old cancer patient in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Taylor Swift has visited a young cancer patient in Nebraska.
The singer was at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha on Saturday to see 10-year-old Lauren Hacker. The fifth-grader at St. Margaret Mary School has cancer.
The Omaha World-Herald reports the meeting was lobbied for on social media. It was later arranged by Lauren's family and the singer's representatives.

After reading the remarks to this article, written by the negative posters, I have to wonder why they bothered to click on this article at all unless it was just so they could write something negative about someone who they know nothing about. Unfortunately, they just come across as negative, unhappy people.
Sweet. Hope the little girl recovers from the cancer: the whole idea of 10-year-olds having cancer is quite abominable, and draws into question just WHAT are we adding to our food, water and air? But for Taylor Swift to make a visit is beyond reproach regardless of all else: it is not about Swift, but about Lauren Hacker.

This is pathetic.
Swift is coerced into the matter, and folks like KOMO promote it like she's an angel.
Truly pathetic.
@bobalouie I
I'm shocked that KOMO has added Taylor Swift (who, by the way, can't sing a lick in tune whatsoever) to their "report on their every single move" list with Lindsay Lohan...
@Throbbinhood @bobalouie She does something heartwarming for a 10 year old cancer patient and you call that pathetic? Technically it's both of your responses that's pathetic!
@bobalouie Who cares! It makes the kid happy. I'm sure TS herself is happy to do it, if it's being promoted too much for your taste, it's not her fault. I'm sure her people would rather it be kept quite for logistics purposes anyway.Â
Taylor Swift is extremely talented, at the top of her career, I'm sure she wouldn't do something like that for P.R. Just because she's famous doesn't mean she doesn't have a heart. Â

I see you are trolling..........
If not done incognito than motivations are suspect. She must not do this type of thing often if it's news anyway.
That's everything I appreciate pertaining to giving back........... well done.
