Watchdog: 3,600 complaints over naked prince pics

LONDON (AP) - A press watchdog says it has received some 3,600 complaints over The Sun's decision to publish nude photos of Britain's Prince Harry.
The tabloid was the only national newspaper to carry the pictures, which first appeared online and quickly became an international talking point.
They captured the third in line to Britain's throne frolicking in the nude with an unidentified woman after what was alleged to have been a game of strip billiards in his Las Vegas hotel room.
Royal officials argued that the photos were a breach of the prince's privacy, but the officials weren't among those who'd filed complaints with Britain's Press Complaints Commission.
That makes it unlikely any action will be taken against The Sun, which said it published the photos in the public interest.

Too bad the pictures weren't more clear and explicit. :-) Actually, the one who took the pictures and made them public should be hung by his or her crown jewls. Harry was in his hotel suite partying with some friends. If you're 27, single, and having fun, nudity sometimes happens. He had a reasonable expectation of privacy in his own place.
3600 complaints isn't bad considering there are billions of people on this planet.
Meanwhile, every paper in America published it, thinking it would cause a stir. Guess what, no one cares. He was having fun in Vegas. And the slimeball who turned over the pics is just that, a slimeball. Next.
How many of you people really care about this ****. I would be just fine to not hear about any royal ****....ever!
Complaint #3,601- The pics were fine, although the star could be remove from the rear pics. My complaint he's a tad too skinny.Â
He's a kid having fun.. leave him alone!
Â
And they're all from the group "Priests without Saltpeter"
The "Naked Prince of Malibu' A white rapping Englishman, is forced to move to Malibu. His Inheritance is cut off and he has to make a living as the "Naked Chef". Many Super Dave style disasters ensue. Visits to the Malibu General Hospital  where all the cute valley girl nurses work.. We can cast Erik Estrada and Phillip Micheal Thomas as Doctors. I don't think they are too busy.
Personally, I think posting the pictures is just plain stupid. He's a 20-something male exercising his right to behave foolishly. So, does anyone really care?
I would like to complain that someone put a big star over his tushie! Â Just kidding.......it's good to see he was using sunscreen as he seems very fair.
 @DoxieÂ
Â
the lad's a ginger...fair in fact.
I bet half of the complaints were because they couldn't actually see the "crown jewels"
@therunner That is MY complaint!  ;-)
