A new way to get motivated to lose weight
GRAHAM - If losing weight is your New Year's resolution this year, a Pierce County woman has an idea that might help motivate you.

Annette Hudson is a trainer in Graham. She says she was looking for a different way to motivate her clients, and came up with the idea for the Fit America Contest.

"And I thought, there should really be a weight loss contest where anyone can enter without tryouts or without an entry fee," she says.

And she says starting Jan. 1, people can sign up online. "They'll have access to the myfitnesstrainer.com forum, where they can communicate and help each other, and we have $40,000 worth of prizes."

Prizes include home gym systems, a tread climber and gym memberships.

Hudson says the contest ends April 1. Winners will be judged on their total results and life changes, not just how much weight they lose.
