1 dead, 5 injured in Olympia head-on crash
OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Troopers say a 53-year-old Olympia woman was killed in a Friday night head-on crash.

The wreck happened sometime after 7 p.m. in the 6400 block of Hawks Prairie Road, according to Trooper Guy Gill of the Washington State Patrol.

Gill said Tammy L. Worthington crossed the double yellow center line in her 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis and ran head-on into a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.

The two adults and three kids in the Tahoe were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Worthington died at the scene.

It's unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
