Pedestrian fatally struck by motorcycle in Kent
KENT, Wash. -- A pedestrian was fatally injured Tuesday night when he was hit by a motorcycle.
Police said the man who was killed was crossing Pacific Highway South near the 23200 block when he was hit by the motorcycle. The crash happened at about 8:45 p.m.
According to Kent police, the pedestrian wasn't using a crosswalk and the motorcyclist was traveling in the correct lane.
Rainy conditions might have played a role in the crash.
Officials said the man driving the motorcycle suffered severe injuries and was transported to a hospital.
