TACOMA, Wash. - Police are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting Saturday night near the Tacoma Mall.

Someone opened fire near the Krispy Kreme donut shop at 4302 Tacoma Mall Boulevard at about 10 p.m.

One person was wounded by the gunfire. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, but their condition is not being released.

Detectives are trying to find any witnesses to the shooting.

There was no word on whether any suspects have been identified or captured.
