1 dead, 1 injured in Arlington crash
ARLINGTON, Wash. -- One person was killed and another injured in a car crash on Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials said two cars collided on 67th Ave. just north of 152nd St. at approximately 2:40 p.m.
Medics extricated a trapped woman, but she could not revived. The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man was also extricated from the second car and taken to an Everett hospital with serious injuries. His condition was not known.
Neither car was carrying any passengers.
The cause of the crash has not been determined, and Snohomish County deputies are investigating.
